Dr. Zurita-Moreno is a visiting professor of Spanish in the Department of Anthropology and World Languages. She teaches Spanish as a second language, as well as different courses related to linguistics and culture. Her research focuses on the Hispanic heritage speakers, sociolinguistic variations of Spanish, and language in contact. She has participated in several conferences where she has presented some of her recent research.
